Pat Peyton Appointed New Director of
Fulfillment for Balmar
Falls Church, Virginia – Pat Peyton has assumed the position of Director of Fulfillment Services for Balmar.
Pat joined Balmar as a Technical Services Manager in 1993 and was named as Technical Director in 1999. As Technical Director, Mr. Peyton has oversight for Management Information Systems, production technology, and Internet initiatives. Pat has more than 20 years of experience integrating computer technology into the editorial, design, and print production processes.
As a Senior Editor for Hearst Books Business Publishing Division in the mid-1980s, Pat was a leader on the team that implemented the first desktop composition system to be used for producing controlled-circulation magazines. In the early 1990s, he developed a network-based system for sharing content developed by the National Marketing Directorate of Coopers & Lybrand with offices throughout the world.
As an independent contractor, he has developed systems to enhance cross-platform workflow management, desktop color separation, and integration of creative services with enterprise information systems.
