Balmar Grows Digital Color with New iGen
Falls Church, Virginia – Balmar, a leader in adopting the latest digital print technologies, has installed the next generation of digital color with the Xerox iGen 4 digital press. One of the key areas of Balmar’s growth in recent years has been the smart, carefully considered investments in new equipment and technologies that meet the changing needs of our clients. This most recent investment in the Xerox iGen 4 was made towards satisfying both current and future needs of the market.
The benefits of this new machine are its speed, automation, larger sheet size capacity up to 14.33" x 22.5", image quality, and wide range of substrates including coated cover stock up to 16pt., mylar, plastic, linen, and vellum stocks, and even magnets. The iGen creates offset and photo-quality images with consistent color and is ideal for producing a wide range of documents from direct mail pieces to manuals, posters, postcards, membership cards and letters.
“The addition of these digital presses will allow us the ability to cater to our clients’ increasing demand for personalized direct marketing campaigns,” said Jim Morgan, President and COO. “Our customers are looking to improve their returns on investment for their marketing dollars and highly targeted and integrated cross media applications are proving to be successful.”
