Balmar, Inc. Wins Award in 23rd Annual Gold Ink Awards Competition
Falls Church, Virginia – Publishing Executive, Printing Impressions and Book Business magazines, cosponsors of the Annual Gold Ink Awards, announced that Balmar has won a Pewter Award in the calendar category. Balmar’s 2010 “Social Networking” calendar was honored in the competition by the Gold Ink Panel of judges as one of the best in the printing industry.
This year, more than 1,200 entries were submitted from around the world within 47 different categories. Criteria for award-winning pieces surpassing their competitors included quality of printing, technical difficulty and overall visual effectiveness. Winning entries will receive recognition in the special Gold Ink issues of Printing Impressions and Publishing Executive this fall.
