Balmar 2004 Calendar Wins Best in Show in National Competition (March 26, 2004)
We are very pleased to announce that Balmar's 2004 "Great and Small" Calendar has been selected as Best of Show winner in a nationwide competition sponsored by The Calendar Marketing Association.
The Calendar Awards Program is the industry's premier competition, recognizing the highest quality calendar design and production in the world.
One calendar from among all National Calendar Award entrants is selected as "Best of Show." That winner is the best overall calendar produced for 2004 in the United States.
Balmar's entry, designed by Rene Ramos, Terry Gallagher, Vicki Hooper and Theresa Welling from Ellipse was also recognized as one of the best in graphic design. The calendar, printed in Gaithersburg by Ron Blair and Christian Henningson was recognized as one of the best in the printing category.
This is a very prestigious honor for Balmar. To be selected from among hundreds of highly creative designs from all over the world is truly a great achievement for Balmar.
